Lightning Detection and Procedures:
We a have a lightning detection system on campus that will sound an alarm when a storm is approaching (loud recurring siren). If this occurs, all persons need to take cover immediately. At St Anne’s there are beacons at the pool and on the side of the buildings near the tennis courts. Beacons will flash red until the storm is a safe distance away.
Sport may only resume once the red light is off and the all-clear has sounded.
